Even though we believe in God and know He is in control, we tend to worry. We worry about family, about health, about finances. Many people say that to worry is normal. there are even people say that worrying has become part of their personality. We know the word of God says that we should not worry, and these words might make us worry even more because we don’t live our lives as believers because we often worry.
Has it ever occurred to you that Jesus told us not to worry because He knew we would do it. He knows we struggle with being worry. He knows sometimes it is hard for us to trust God when we face problems in our lives. We should be grateful that our Lord is not surprised by our worries. He wants to help us overcome them by giving detailed instructions on how believers should live their daily lives and how faith should shape behavior – including how to deal with worries. In Matthew 6: 25-34, Jesus specifically tells us not to worry about food or clothing because God will provide for our needs, as He did for the birds in the air. This promise of God’s provision and protection applies to all areas of our lives, including to help us overcome various problems. God wants us to leave our problems in His hands. Look how beautiful He creates flowers. So why worry? [EH]
